Probably the reasons why we do not have a name for the bottom of our hand is because when we flip our hand’s over we do not usually want to touch the bottom of our hands, and decide to do the top. The top of our hands have more nerves compared to the bottom. The top of our hands tell a lot about a person, like fortune telling, which is why we have a name for the top of our hand rather than having another name for the two sides of your hand.
