I think that the most important relationship in my life, after my relationship with God, is the one with my parents. I went through a hard time during my freshman year because of home-sick issues, and I had to learn how to deal with those feelings, since they were affecting my every day activities and my mood. One of the ways that I used to miss them less is to put pictures of them in my room. Similarly I have a photoshoot that I took before coming here, and I printed them and have those pictures in my wallet. I also put pictures of them as wallpapers in my desktop, and I have objects that they have given me, that I brought from Mexico. This is a great time in my life for I have all I need and more, but I do miss my parents, that is why I speak with them almost every day.
