When I was in 10th grade one of my good friends passed away. She was a Senior in High School and died in a car wreck on the way to school. She was one of "those people". She could be a complete, excuse my French, bitch and people would still love her to pieces. She was in my freshman P.E. and Health class with me and we were pretty much best friends during that class period. We were the only "fat" girls in that class so when everyone would be running laps, we would be walking!

She told me a lot of things that have stuck with me over the years, but the one the rings true the most?

"Love isn't finding a perfect person, It's seeing an imperfect person, perfectly."

I love this quote because it rings so true to me. Whenever I'm with my friends back home and we find ourselves getting caught up in trying to find the most amazing guy, we sit back and think about Bree. She was in a relationship of 3 years before she passed, Matt Ware. Most girls would take one look at him and walk away, but to Bree.. that boy was everything she ever needed. I admired her so much for that. 

She always did crazy things that my friends now use as metaphors in our relationships. 

I miss her like crazy everyday, but I also know that she is in a better place! I was lucky to know her for the year and a half that I did, her words and phrases will stay with me and my friends forever because that's just how Bree would have wanted it!
