In the book the author talks about how we all have to express or perform our feelings appropriately, being this that it has to be in a way that others will be able to judge as being Ok. I honestly agree with this till a certain extent, and this is to the point where your personality and individuality comes to delimit who you really are and the way you express yourself. I believe that we are supposed to be, in a social environment, cordial and supportive with others, understanding that no one knows what is going on in our heads, and what is going through our mind. We need to be able to share ourselves and express what we feel or not feel like doing with at least a minimum sense of this, expecting not for everyone to agree with us, but yes to respect our voice, of course, we are required to do the same for others. Nonetheless, I think that we are nowhere being close for everyone to understand each other easily, and not that this is the ultimate goal, but to be able to put aside our thoughts and try to see where the other person is coming from, that is where the book’s assertion lacks power.

The main issue with PDA is that the public domain is for everyone. PDA is a somewhat controversial issue because it is up to us as the people to decide what is considered "too far." Some people think even holding hands is too much; others might not have a problem with sex in public. No matter how people try to resolve this conflict, not everyone will be happy, so the simplest solution is to simply create laws that punish the extreme examples of PDA and reinforce a social perspective that PDA is something to be ashamed of. In this way, limits are placed in ways that none except those considered "shameless" would break.
