well through my 20 years of experience, all language has shown me that is that i suck at grammar. if front of our hands has a name it is because some old scientist felt that it need one. why you might ask, that simple just look at the front and back of your hand. there different right? well there you go, your palm has alot more nerve endings all through out the surface of your skin with a lot more layers of skin to boot. so therefor making it alot more important than the back of your hand.
