Haven't seen a major difference in people's opinions on PDA. I'm going to have to agree with most that if you keep it in check then some is ok, however once you hit the point where it's repulsive to others you should refrain. Keeping it at bay is ok, it shouldn't get out of hand.

Here's an idea: How much are you willing to let people "get away" with? Do you think none of it should be allowed or are you fairly understanding unless it's getting out of control?
