On page 36 the last sentence of the first full paragraph reads "Second, you must know something about their personal order so that you can connect to it when you talk with them." Each of us has their own personal order and I understand from the reading that through communication our orders can be understood by others over time. However it occurs to me that others may know more about our personal orders than we do. Whether it is by choice or by a lack of understanding of oneself, some believe that the only order within them is that of their parents and or those around them. So I will end this post with this question how well do you understand your personal order?
P.S. There are many things I am still finding out about myself and my personal order changes with each new discovery.

What do you mean others may know more about our personal orders than we do? Do you mean that people are able to tell what our personal orders are better than we know them ourselves through our actions and through our speech?
I definitely agree that there are people who believe that the only order within them is that of their parents. I know for me, personally, being in college has been a journey of distinguishing my personal order from that of my parents. It's been a very interesting and exciting journey, I have to say. :)
I think I have a good understanding of my personal order but then again sometimes I don't even know or recognize what I am doing. I agree that we can have an idea of our personal order but not fully know it.
To Melody
I am reffuring to parents, familly members, and friends that have been with you for most of your life. They have watched you grow and in some ways helped you form your personal orders. They know you and can see changes in you and your order. All I mean is that we are still exploring our world and trying new things. And we may be revieling a personal order that we may not see, but others see full force.
