I feel that there is a time and place for displaying one's affection. Out in public I believe kisses and hugs good bye are acceptable. Any other displaying of affection only should be present behind closed doors. It has been said that there is a certian pace that one should go at to maintain a healthy successful relationship. Do you believe there is a "certian" pace? Even after being together for years do you feel like there is a piont where it is not appropriate to show excessive amouts of affection?

I believe the more time you spend together with someone, the more you get used to that love.It is said that passionate love turns into companionate love after many years because that sparkle of the first years is gone, or at least dormant. But deep down I believe that there is somebody with whom we will be able to feel that magic always, it is just a matter of rekindling every detail. I personally hate systems; I wish people could feel more free to express themselves, especially regarding to love.

The system only exists because enough people support it. The social system exists to regulate the actions of people so that things are not taken too far, as well as to respect the feelings of more orthodox people. There are certain things that people just don't want to see, and they deserve not to feel uncomfortable when a couple is in public with them.

I like to think that once we find that "magic" with someone. The need to rekindle every detail should not be necessary, because every moment spent with that person would be a newly empowered moment that outshines all the rest.

I like the way you worded this last question, "excessive amounts of affection". It's true that no matter how far into a relationship you are, there should be a level that shouldn't be passed.
