My relationship with my grandma has definitely changed in some ways over the last 10 years. I think I appreciate the time that I have with her because she has gotten older and cannot do the same things that we use to do together some years ago. She used to be able to do more active things 10 years ago, but can’t now because of her knees and ankles. But regardless, I still have the same relationship with my grandma; I think it’s just more mature.

It's interesting how for the first ten years of your life, the elderly take care of you, but during the next ten years, you are taking care of them.
And it's even more interesting how not only the roles change, but the attitudes and behaviors seem to also swap!
