I believe that personality is an important part of relationships of any kind. Personality is merely the way a person is, the way they look at things, and in some ways, the way they act. With that being said, a really good relationship is not one where personalities of the parties involved are not the same, but where they are similar. There needs to be a little overlap in their personalities, but the personalities need not be too similar. This is important to keep a relationship feasible in that there is enough similarity to allow for some common ground, but also enough difference to keep things interesting. In all my relationships, this is true.

I definitely agree. I talked about this in my post; I think there are some relationships where the two people are very similar in personalities, but there are also others where the two people seem worlds apart when it comes to personalities. I guess this is where the debate between "opposites attract" and "birds of a feather flock together" come into play.
