Nonverbal communication, or the way your body talks for you, is key in any conversation. I can appear to be extremely vested in someone's conversation or topic of discussion and deep down inside not care at all. Likewise, I can actually want to gain knowledge about what someone is speaking about, but I appear to be bored out of my mind. Body language can convey these opposite and contrasting emotions to the person you are speaking with. Now on to physical appearance and how that can obstruct your topic of discussion. Nice clothes and clean looks are almost always standard nowadays in society and I feel that if a person doesn't fit into what is called the "normal spectrum" of living, then they are talked about. Take Lady Gaga for example, she wears extravagant outfits all of the time and a lot of people praise and/or criticize her for it. However, her name is still in your mouth therefore you are talking about her, spreading her fame. Every detail matters and that is how conversations can last lifetimes. They have meaningful influences and we discuss several broad topics therefore we never run out of ideas. 'Gotta' love us humans...

Lady Gaga is a true nonconformist. I wonder, do the people who criticize her really believe that she is weird, or are they merely jealous that they cannot step into her extravagant world that does not abide by society's expectations?
