Well, I never met my grandparents, but I have experienced changes in my parents and in my brother as they get older. I guess that the ones that have changed the most are my brother and my father. It seems to be true that boys are slow to mature, and I guess that has been the case with my dad and brother. At the same time, it is safe to say that I have grown up tool; therefore, the relationship that I have with them has changed as well.
While growing up, there were so many things that I could not discuss with my brother because he was too young. Now, we are able to talk about similar issues and that shows that the both of us have changed. The book talks about how, while growing up, our cognitive functioning changes, so I think this is a perfect example of how age affects relationships. Now, my brother and I get along so much more because we are able to talk about similar; yet somewhat different, issues.
