Nonverbal communication is one very important way of communicating to someone who you are. Not only can the way you carry yourself have an influence of how people see you, but the things you wear and when you wear them can be a huge deal too. Someone who always is in a suit and tie will generally be regarded to as higher in knowledge and power than someone in ripped jeans and a tank. In this, I think that many people ride pretty heavily on nonverbal aspects of people to judge them.
