The subject of physical appearance is a very sensitive topic. My friends and  I talk about the way we look sometimes. It is inevitable! Us, girls, tend to do that more than boys, I guess. At least it seems to be an "important" subject. I believe that through clothes we express who we are, somehow. Hence, people somehow also develop an idea of who we think we are through clothes. It can be the other way around as well. People tend to think that if someone does not care about the way they dress, it means that they may be lazy and careless. However, that may not always be true.
Still, because of the way our society works, that the way someone dresses plays an important role, want it or not, when it comes to social orders. For example, if you went to a job interview, you would dress very nice in order to impress your potential employer. Hence, that shows that physical appearance plays an important role.
