I remember that when I was in highschool, my classmates would compare girls' bodies and the ways they carried themselves. That kinda exerted pressure upon me and my girlfriends because we knew that people were observing us and that  a good physical appearance  made you successful.  In the volleyball team, girls would talk about other girls having cellulite or having some pounds that should not be there. Definitely, physical appearance plays a huge role of importance in today's society. Magazines, media, Hollywood, and other influences portray the ideal weight, face, and looks. We are all influenced by them, but we should take always the positive aspects from everything. It does not mean we should efeel frustrated if we are not like American nest top models, but at least watching them motivates us to improve our appearance.
