Personalty is important because it is who you are and how you act. Personally i believe that someone can change there personalty. if you try to date someone that is the completely opposite then you then the relationship has a grater chance of suffering. for example i dated a girl in high school who always wanted to be around me all the time. But at the same time I was doing sports training every day. and i was not around very much. so in the end it did not work out. but the point is if the person you are in a relationship with is different then you then you both can be flexible and change.

I believe that I successful relationship is one where personalities are alike too. There can be certain changes; however, if you have to change for somebody i order to have a relationship, then it is just not meant to be.
I agree with Gabriella. You should be who you are and hope that who you're with accepts you for you.
I think that even while being in a relationship with someone who's different than you, it is very important to stick to who you really are. When dating someone who has a different personality, it is necessary to find a balance, and learn from each other.
